Open Road nabs U.S. rights to 'Outrun'

Open Road Films has acquired all U.S. rights for the romantic action comedy"Outrun,"starring,written and co-directed by Dax Shepard. Cast incorporated Kristen Bell, BradleyCooper, Tom Arnold, Love Bridges, Kristin Chenoweth, David Koechner, Michael Rosenbaum, Pleasure Bryant and Ryan Hansen. David Palmer co-directed with Shepard. Theannouncement was madeFriday by Tom Ortenberg, Boss of Open Road Films. Exclusive Media Group acquired worldwide rights to "Outrun," presently in publish-production, through the American Film Market captured. Producers are Andrew Panay, Nate Tuck, Kim Waltrip and Jim Casey. Shepard plays an ex-getaway driver living under an assumed identity in central California. He confirms to destroy the recommendations of his witness protection and drive his girlfriend (carried out by Bell) to La to make sure that she'll land her dream job. When the government physiques and also the former gang (introduced by Cooper's character) learn he's back driving, they hit the road to chase him lower.
